Think Microcement is a specialist applicator studio working directly with interior designers, architects, and private clients. Every surface is mixed, applied, and finished by our own team — no subcontractors, no shortcuts.
Our story
Built on a single conviction
Think Microcement was founded by a team with backgrounds in architecture and traditional plastering — people who understood both the design intent behind a surface and the craft required to realise it. We saw too many projects where the finish fell short of the drawing: inconsistent colour, visible joins, surfaces that aged poorly.
We set out to do it differently. Every project begins with a site visit. Every mix is prepared to the specific substrate and conditions. Every coat is applied by the same hands that will seal and hand over the finished surface.
The result is a studio that works slowly, deliberately, and only on projects where we can do our best work. We keep our project load manageable so that nothing is rushed and nothing is delegated to someone who wasn't there at the start.

Specification first
We provide written specifications and sample boards before any work begins. No surprises on site.
Material honesty
Microcement is a living surface. We advise on realistic maintenance expectations and supply aftercare guidance with every project.
Designer-ready
We work at concept stage, provide CAD-ready technical data, and attend site meetings when required.
Credentials
Trained, certified, insured
Manufacturer certified
Certified applicators for leading European microcement systems including Topciment and Microcemento.
Full public liability
£5 million public liability insurance. Certificates available on request for all projects.
CHAS accredited
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme accreditation. Safe systems of work on every site.
Trade references
References available from interior designers, architects, and main contractors on request.
